Embora exista um forum brasileiro, coordenado por Cl�udia Streva, e tamb�m um forum americano, ambos dedicados �s pessoas que aplicam o protocolo (FSR) proposto por Janice W-H no seu j� famoso Projeto Recupera�ao de Parkinson, tenho divulgado neste blog quase todas as informa�oes que me chegam sobre o assunto.

Para os que n�o falam ingl�s, resumidamente ela diz que est� dedicando o seu tempo para escrever o Manual de Medica��es e a nova edi��o do Manual de Recupera��o que ir� substituir a vers�o atual. A nova edi��o ter� muito mais informa��o sobre sintomas de recupera��o, e a vasta faixa de repostas ao programa que eles vem observando nos �ltimos quatro anos.

" Thank you for your inquiry. Some changes have been made in this Parkinson's
Disease treatment support service. The following are the changes.

EMAIL
Due to an overwhelming increase in email in the past few months, we can no
longer keep up with the incoming email. Although a few non-acupuncturist
volunteers have offered to assist with the email correspondence, they are
not usually able to answer the specific questions being asked, most of
which are demanding highly specific information which only a Parkinson's
specialist can provide. We have no grant money and no outside source of
funds, so there is not money available to pay for any of my very busy
colleagues to field the incomings questions.
While we cannot guarantee that he will be able to find the time to answer
all emails, if you have questions about FSR and Parkinson's disease, please
do consider emailing to directly to Darrell Hall, one of the colleagues in

The CLINIC
The list of people wanting to come to Santa Cruz for an evaluation by J.
Walton-Hadlock is growing too long. The logistics of treating so many
people is becoming unmanageable for her. She has a valid concern that, as
the number of people per week being treated increases, the quality of her
private practice and, more importantly, her research must suffer.
Certainly, it places a strain on the amount of work that can be done on
compiling information and writing up what we are seeing. At this point she
has written up thousands of pages of cryptic patient notes that might be of
interest to the medical world if there was ever time to transcribe them
all. But with the ever-increasing load of patients and emails, those files
are being ignored. She is hoping to make a change in that.

visiting guest program at the clinic. His contact information is

MEETING Janice Walton-Hadlock
A note from Janice : For people who are adamant about meeting with me, I am
sorry, but my work load has become far too great, and I have had to make
the difficult decision to focus on the book on medications which I hope to
finish by next year, and a new edition of the Recovery Handbook to replace
that which is currently on the website. The new edition will have much more
information about recovery symptoms, and the wide range of responses to the
program that we have observed in the four years since the project first
posted its findings. In the long run, my writing on medication and
Parkinson's in general will hopefully be of the greatest help to the
greatest number, and a better use of my time than spending the bulk of my
morning and evenings answering individual emails or scheduling visiting
guests. Instead, may I suggest that you contact one of the chat groups?

A few chat groups have arisen, founded by people who are either attempting
to use the methods of our project or who have Parkinson's themselves. I
hope that interested parties will use these groups to raise questions and
offer suggestions to each other.

Please wish me luck in my writings, and I will make them available on the
internet as soon as they are presentable.
