"Assunto: Parkinson's Clinic/ Santa Cruz
Claudia,
I'm so sorry i didn't get a chance to email you yet.
I went to Santa Cruz and had the chance to meet with Janice (J.J.)
and take a tour of the clinc. Janice was very nice and made sure to
answer any questions I had.
It was a very powerful experience seeing the groups of people with
Parkinson's receiving free treatment. Actually, Janice had one of the
"healers" work on me so I could experience what the treatment is like.
The clinic is in a room at a place near the beach. I think the entire
facility is a school for Chinese medicine. They use a large room with
an attached office and bathroom. This room had very soft lighting and
when you walked in there were at least 7 massage tables throughout.
On each table you had a person with Parkinson's receiving their
treatment from one of the healers. The healers (some, I understand,
are volunteers-- others are taking this as a class -- they are
students). I actually had a very nice young women work on me. She
said she was a student and was very open to sharing how much she
loved this class -- and how much Janice cares about these patients.
Throughout the evening, I watched as some of the patients fell asleep
during the treatment (it was very relaxing) and one other received a
sort of herbal therapy (something that actually smelled like pot?)
Janice would go around throughout the evening and check on each
patient -- talking to them. On the massage table next to me was a
young man that Janice had found while going to a fast food place. She
later invited him to come to the clinic.
The class would run for an hour and then another group of patients
would arrive.
I tried to find out who the patients were that "recovered" -- but I
was always unable to find out more information. i asked the woman who
was working on me if she's ever seen someone recover from the
beginning of treatment. She said she hasn't been working long enough.
However, Janice says it is possible -- but I never was able to meet
anyone that had fully been "recovered."
I also understand from the woman that was working on me -- she said
that Janice's husband has Parkinson. She didn't go into any detail --
and I didn't want to ask Janice (in case she didn't want to talk
about it).
Overall -- it was a very powerful experience. I was very sad when I
left, as I couldn't stop thinking about how this disease has taken
over your life -- and how I pray that this will work for you. I
believe Janice has a good heart -- I hope that her treatments will
help you -- I believe that the mind has incredible power over the
body-- I must say, the people seem to have so much hope and faith in
Janice.
I am praying for you, Claudia. You are always in my thoughts and
prayers!
I will forward you a few email photos I took of Janice and the clinic.
My love to you and the family.
Love,
Colette "
Um abrao,
Cludia

desintoxicar.

Beijo pro c e sua famlia
